Worthington's White Shield India Pale Ale (England)

Worthingtons White Shield India Pale Ale
Worthingtons Brewery
5.6% ABV

This multi award winning beer has been a firm favourite with beer drinkers in the UK.  White Shield has so far earned 7 CAMRA awards.  White Shield is bottle conditioned and matured for up to 3 years.

A mild yeast aroma is first apparent along with some faint malt.  The beer is a clear golden brown with a just off-white head with a gentle fizz.  The beer flavour has a perfect balance of hops and malted barley with a little bitterness at the end of the palate.  The beer has a near perfect weighted body.

Overall a really good beer.  Worth tracking down.
